Qué es el Certificado en Basics of Supply Chain Management?
El BSCM es el primer paso en el conocimiento y dominio de las técnicas más ampliamente utilizadas para planificar los recursos y las operaciones en las empresas de manufactura y de servicios. No es misterio: este programa constituye el primer paso hacia la certificación profesional internacional Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) de APICS, The Operations Management Society que lleva 52 años de experiencia en la solución de los problemas y requerimientos más frecuentes en el mundo de los profesionales de la logística. El BSCM es el punto de partida para cualquier formación en la planificación, implementación y control de los recursos logísticos. Ayuda a la formulación de la propuesta operativa de valor, a la reducción de los costos totales y a la satisfacción del cliente. El BSCM tiene aplicación en empresas de manufactura y de servicios.

Los temas incluyen:
 Introducción al Supply Chain Management; Sistemas de Planificación de la Producción; Plan Maestro de Producción; Planificación de Requerimientos de Materiales; Management de Capacidad; Control de la Actividad Productiva; Compras; Pronósticos; Fundamentos de Inventarios; Tamaño de los Pedidos y Lote Económico de Compra; Sistemas de Inventarios con Demanda Independiente; Inventario Físico y Management de Almacenes; Distribución Física; Productos y Procesos; Manufactura Just In Time; Management de la Calidad Total.

Nuestra herramienta de estudio en línea le ayuda a conocer su nivel inicial de conocimiento,  crear un plan de estudio basado en sus necesidades particulares, reenforzar sus estudios con examenes de práctica y otras actividades a la vez que puede monitorear su progreso en el aprendizaje.  Nuestro sistema de repaso funciona en conjunto con las notas de Estudio y la guia del participante, y consta de los siguientes componentes: 
  • Overview (Syllabus)
    Una revisión general del sistema de aprendizaje.
     
  • Pre- and post-tests
    These practice tests, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions each, cover content drawn from the entire system. After each question, you will be provided with immediate feedback, including the correct answer and the rationale for that answer. A running total of questions answered correctly is provided as you proceed through the test. The pre-test results will provide you with an indication of those areas that require the most attention. The post-test results will measure your progress following your completion of the course.
  • Module-specific tests
    Functioning similarly to the pre- and post-tests, the module-specific tests allow you to check your understanding and retention of materials within a given module. The questions include immediate feedback, answer rationales, and reference to the relevant sections in the text so you can review trouble areas.

  • Reports
    Individuals and/or course administrators can track course progress and document the learning gain through a complimentary reporting feature that includes pre- and post-test scores and module-specific test scores.
